Kesters Cottage is a holiday house in Russell, in the Bay of Islands. It’s a simple Kiwi Bach with unrivalled views over Long Beach & the Outer Bay of Islands. The house is close to swimming beaches, fishing, sea kayaking, sightseeing, dolphin & whale watching, scuba diving, golf & a host of other activities.

Kester’s Cottage Holiday House, Russell

Kester’s Cottage Holiday House is conveniently located just a few minutes from the centre of Russell & safe swimming at Long beach (Oneroa Bay). The house has two bedrooms. The master bedroom, with a queen-sized bed, has views over beautiful Long Beach & the Outer Bay of Islands. The second bedroom has two single beds that can also be joined to form a double. Each room has a large cupboard & two small sets of draws. The lounge / kitchen area opens onto a large north facing deck with gorgeous sea views. The deck has an outdoor table and chair set and a charcoal BBQ for alfresco entertaining. The house backs onto regenerating native bush that is a home to a range of native wildlife. Kiwi & Weka are often heard at night. Flat, easily accessible off-street parking is available for up to 4 vehicles at front of the house. Trailered boats up to 7m can be parked on the property.

Kesters Cottage

The rental for Kester’s cottage ranges between NZ $140 & $200 per night. The higher rates apply to the peak summer period. A minimum stay of 2 nights is required. For longer bookings discounted rates are sometimes available. The holiday house is available for rent throughout the year. It is often booked out over the summer holiday season, so advanced bookings are recommended.

Kesters Cottage overlooks Long Beach in the sub-tropical paradise of Russell, in the Bay of Islands. The area is known as the winterless north & has some of the best weather in New Zealand. It provides an ideal location at any time of the year to enjoy the areas many attractions.
